This course addresses key questions you may have about being a competent and effective preceptor. 

You will be provided with teaching strategies, practical tips, multi-media technology and self-assessment and reflection exercises to help you maintain your own productivity while integrating a student into the practice setting.

The course is focused on the national aspects of preceptorship and content is not meant to replace practicum program information that you will need to know and complete, such as specific site placement forms, affiliation agreements, and program specific evaluations.
